A New Deceit

There’s a new PayPal deceit. Join their Bill Me Later service and save $5 on this purchase, and take 6 months to pay for it. Click the button on the EBay web page, sign up for the service, which dings your credit, of course. Then get the bill a few days later. No $5, and no 6 months to pay. “Well, we didn’t see anything about you signing up for a special order!” Crooks. Now I have to pay my bill, cancel the account, and live with the hit to my credit score.
