6 years later and there is still a problem

I had a customer in 2005 bid on a phone, we both lived in the same state so we agreed that I’d take down the listing and we’d meet up and do the exchange that way. We did just that, the following week the customer goes to Paypal and says he paid for the phone and never got it. I refuse to pay that fee, I tried to resolve it with Paypal and got stuck with the fee. Years later I cant use my ebay account or paypal account. Its bullshit~!
